If you live in the city limits of Springfield, you might be getting a survey in the mail soon.

City officials say they want to hear from citizens on a variety of topics, including public safety, law enforcement and race relations.  Surveys will be mailed to randomly selected households in the coming weeks.

You’ll be asked to take a few minutes to fill out the survey and then mail it back in an enclosed postage-paid, self-addressed envelope by November 28.  Answers will be anonymous.

City manager, Jason Gage, says in a news release that participation is very important and that they’ll present the findings along with other public feedback to city council.
