Lineup For Birthplace Of Route 66 Festival Announced

The band, Sixwire, will headline the Birthplace of Route 66 Festival in August.  The band includes former Kansas lead singer, John Elefante, and a former lead singer of Journey, Steve Augeri.

The organizers of the festival announced the lineup for this years’ event on Tuesday. 

The event, August 14-15, will again feature two live music stages; a car show; a raffle for a 1932 Ford Roadster to benefit Shriner’s Hospitals for children; the Authors, Artists, Collectors & Associations Expo; Vendor Village; Motorcycle Village; a parade; and a 6.6K Run/3.3K walk. 

New this year will be the Great Route 66 Talent Search for all ages and genres.
