Several Area Employers Will Attend Veterans Job Fair Thursday

A job fair this week is aimed at veterans who are looking for work.

The Missouri Job Center and the American Legion Goad-Ballinger Post 69 will host the Veterans Hiring Fair Thursday, November 15, from 2-6 pm. The post is located at 149 Memorial Plaza, behind the Shrine Mosque.  According to the job center, the event is open to all veterans, transitioning service members, reservists, National Guard, military spouses, military family members and civilian job seekers.

Participating companies include Amprod Holdings LLC, Buckhorn, Multi Craft, Mercy, Burrell Behavioral Health, Simos Insourcing Solutions, Job Finders, Penmac Staffing, Integrity Home Care, U.S. Census, Bass Pro Shops, Red Monkey, Greene County, Heritage Leads, Guaranty Bank, Springfield Public Schools, Arrow Senior Luxury Living, Manpower, McCormick, Waffle House, Wooten Company, CoxHealth, Staffing Plus, Navy Reserve Recruiting, Wonders of Wildlife, TTEC, Wyndham Destinations, Visiting Angels, Purina Nestle, Citizens Memorial Hospital, Springfield Police Dept, Central Bank of the Ozarks, Truck Hero, Poor Boy Tree Service, Missouri National Guard and Vital Farms.
