Nearly 1000 Families Receive Food for Thanksgiving from Crosslines

Council of Churches of the Ozarks

Crosslines handed out groceries to 967 families in Greene County Saturday.  According to the Council of Churches of the Ozarks, Crosslines and partner agencies were able to help 3200 unduplicated families with holiday assistance over the weekend.

Starting November 26, those who still need Christmas food and toy assistance can sign up at the Crosslines Holiday Resource Center Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with extended hours of 3 to 6 p.m. on Thursday.  Families need to take a piece of mail with their name on it no more than 30 days old, photo i.d. and social security numbers for every member in the household.

Volunteers are still needed for the Crosslines Christmas distribution, according to the Council of Churches.  You can sign up to help at crosslinesholiday.org
