KSMU’s For the Love of Art Contest – Official Rules
Congratulations to Rebeka Armstrong of Springfield, the winner of KSMU's For the Love of Art Contest!
Our contest ended October 22. Participants that called the station from 10am-1pm between Thursday, October 15-Thursday, October 22 were entered into the contest upon request. Additionally, anyone who made a pledge to the KSMU Fall Fundraiser during those times was automatically entered.
Eligibility:
Anyone may enter KSMU’s For the Love of Art Contest except employees of Ozarks Public Broadcasting, their immediate family, or persons living in the same household. The drawing is open to any United States resident, and is void where prohibited by law.
Grand Prize:
One (1) grand prize will be awarded. The grand prize includes the following:
Two (2) tickets to Turtle Island Quartet with Cyrus Chestnut at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts on November 5 ($50 value)
Two (2) tickets to The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts on November 18 ($44 value)
Two (2) tickets to Reduced Shakespeare Company in The Ultimate Christmas Show (abridged) at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts on December 4 ($40 value)
Two (2) tickets to Nnenna Freelon at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts on December 5 ($50 value)
Two (2) tickets to A Christmas Story at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts on October 28 ($110 value)
Two (2) ticket vouchers to Miracle on 34th Street at Springfield Little Theatre good for opening weekend, November 27 – 29 ($60 value)
Two (2) ticket vouchers to Xanadu at Springfield Contemporary Theatre, showing November 30 - December 13 ($56 value)
Two (2) ticket vouchers to William Inge’s Bus Stop at Springfield Contemporary Theatre, showing March 18 – April 3 ($50 value)
Four (4) ticket vouchers to the Springfield Ballet’s The Nutcracker at the Landers Theatre, showing December 17-20 ($104 value)
Six (6) ticket vouchers for any concert during the Springfield Symphony’s 2015-2016 Heroes & Legends season ($186 value)
Two (2) ticket vouchers to any production in Tent Theatre’s 54th season ($32 value)
The grand prize has a total retail value of $782.
Selection and Notification of Winner:
The winner will be selected by random drawing. The contest winner will be announced on-air on Thursday, October 22 at 5pm and notified by telephone. The winner must accept grand prize by November 22, 2015. If the winner does not accept the prize, an alternate winner will be selected and offered the prize.
General Rules:
By participating in KSMU’s For the Love of Art Contest, participants agree to these official rules and agree that KSMU Radio and Missouri State University, their agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of prizes or their participation in the contest. These official rules are on file at the station, and can be viewed there by request Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
Restrictions:
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries. By participating in KSMU’s For the Love of Art Contest, participants agree to be bound by these official rules and by all decisions of the contest committee. Names of winner may be obtained by sending a request prior to January 31, 2016 to:
