Springfield City Utilities celebrated National Drink Water Week the first week in May with a 4th grade poster display at C.U.'s Main Office Building.
Ernie De Camp is a spokesman for Springfield City Utilities.
De Camp says people often take water for granted and that the Ozarks has an abundant supply of high-quality water.
Ernie De Camp says City Utilities sponsored a poster contest for all fourth grade children in Springfield public and parochial schools earlier in the year.
The winning posters were on display in the lobby of the City Utilities Main Office Building at 301 East Central Street.
The top five posters as well as Honorable Mention posters were posted at The Library Center with a recognition event at 4:30 p.m. Monday, May 9th.
