OTC Celebrates Grand Opening Of Its Republic Center

The OTC Republic Center is ready to welcome students on August 24.  More than 100 students are registered to attend there this fall.  Eventually, the campus could grow to serve 800 to 1200 students, according to a news release from Ozarks Technical Community College.

The school held a grand opening for the center on Monday.  The 30,000-square-foot facility is on land donated by the Bussey, Cox and Lipscomb families on Republic's west side.

The center features eight classrooms, computer and science labs, a student common area, testing center and writing area.  There are several associate degrees offered there, including general education, English, social work, criminal justice, behavioral science and biological and clinical science.
