The OnStage Blog has listed Missouri State University among the Top 30 College Theatre Design and Tech Programs for 2019-2020.
The blog sites what it calls "A unique opportunity with the Tent Theatre, the only company in the area that houses an Equity Membership Candidate Program" and, because of that, students have the opportunity to build equity candidacy points. It points out that students work with performers who have been recruited throughout the nation to participate in a professional experience.
In April, a committee of more than 20 people began reseraching theatre programs across the country, and MSU was among the schools that made the final cut.
