Abandoned Springfield Campus Still for Sale

Fine & Company, LLC

The Central Bible College campus in north Springfield is still up for sale.  Fine & Company, which is handling the auction, says the General Council of the Assemblies of God declined to accept a bid for the entire campus during the preemptive bidding process.  The broadcast tower parcel, however, has been sold.

Bids for the tower as well as preemptive bids for the entire campus were due by March 30.

The company says it will soon announce the configuration of parcels offered in the final round of bidding.  In the final round, buyers can bid for the entire campus or pre-designated portions of it.  The auction is expected to be held in June.

The campus includes 24 buildings, undeveloped land, two ponds and a baseball field.
