Evangel to Hold Inauguration Ceremony for New AGTS President

The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary at Evangel University welcomes a new president this week with the inauguration of Dr. Mark A. Hausfeld.

The seminary president will report to and serve on the cabinet of university president Carol Taylor.

Dr. Hausfeld is a 1980 graduate of Evangel and 1983 graduate of AGTS. According to the school, Hausfeld’s previous work focused on discipleship and church planting in urban settings in North America, as well as in restricted contexts in Central Asia and far-reaching global Muslim communities.

An inauguration ceremony is scheduled for Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the AGTS chapel at the corner of Glenstone and Division in Springfield.
