The Springfield School Board will interview three prospective executive search firms during a special meeting this afternoon (10/15).
The board will vote during its regular meeting tonight on which firm will lead the search for Superintendent Norm Ridder’s replacement.
Dr. Ridder announced earlier this year that the 2013-2014 school year would be his last at the helm of the Springfield Public School district.
Once a search firm has been selected, a timeline for the superintendent search will be developed. School Board President Kris Kallen has said the board hopes to begin reviewing applicants for the superintendent’s job in December.
