Take a break from the heat and help end hunger at Springfield-Greene County Park Board swimming pools this summer. From May 26 to September 1, between 5:30 and 6:30 pm daily, admission to all outdoor pools is $1 or free when you bring one canned food item per person.

Juneteenth, June 19:Splash and Sizzle at Fassnight and Silver Springs, pools 1-6:30 p.m.
Independence Day, July 4:Splash & Sizzle at Fassnight and Silver Springs pools, 12-5:30 p.m.
Park Day Reunion, August 2:Splash and Sizzle at Silver Springs pool, 1-6:30 p.m.
National Night Out, August 5:Splash and Sizzle at Meador, 5-7 p.m.
Starting August 11, only Fassnight will be open. Fassnight will only be open on weekends.
Labor Day, Sept. 1:Splash & Sizzle at Fassnight pool, 1-6:30 p.m.

The Warrior's Journey will host a Military Appreciation Event August 28th to honor the service and sacrifice of all branches of the US Military while bringing the community together.
The event will include a live performance by the US Navy Band, local food trucks, and fireworks.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
