Third Annual Service Fair on the Square
Third Annual Service Fair on the Square
The History Museum on the Square invites the public to once again celebrate community connection and civic engagement at the Third Annual Service Fair on the Square on Saturday, September 5th, from 10 a.m. to noon. This free, all-ages event highlights the museum’s ongoing initiative to serve the community and strengthen connections between its members.
More than two dozen local nonprofits and charitable organizations are coming together to share their work, invite attendees to get involved, and celebrate the community we love! The Service Fair offers countless ways to get involved and make a difference—from youth mentoring and environmental advocacy to arts, education, and social services. The Service Fair has it all, whether you're looking to volunteer, donate, or learn more about causes that matter to you.
“Volunteering is an essential part of nonprofit work,” explains Alyssa Cartier, Visitor Experience & Engagement Manager. “The Service Fair on the Square is a great way to support the cycle of pairing the skills and interests of community members to organizations that support our community in turn.”
Whether you're a student in need of service hours, a family looking to get involved, or an adult seeking meaningful ways to contribute, the Service Fair offers a welcoming space to take that first step—no registration required.
“The Service Fair is one of our favorite ways to bring our community together here on the Square," says Al Thompson, Interim Education Manager. “Not only do we want to help attendees find meaningful volunteering opportunities, but we also love the chance to shine a spotlight on the incredible work being done by all of the organizations in our community.”
