Officials with the office of workforce development and community education at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) will offer a solar eclipse paint party from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 6.

The event will take place in the Creative Discovery Center in Drago Hall, 411 W. Main St., on the MSU-WP campus.

Participants will be able to create their own commemorative T-shirt and/or totality bag using acrylic fabric paint, glow-in-the-dark paint and splatter technique, organizers said. The project takes about an hour to complete and is great for kids and kids at heart, they added.

Classes will begin every two hours. The prices are $12 for a youth shirt, $15 for an adult shirt, and $30 for a tote. Reservations are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.
