Second Saturday Showcase- Feasting Over the Fire
The Friends of the Gray/Campbell Farmstead will host the Second Saturday Showcase-Feasting Over the Fire on July 9 from 1:30-4:30. This free event is for the whole family.
See demonstrations from the 1800's that are still practiced today on cooking over an open fire as well as on the hearth.
Along with demonstrations there will be activities for kids, live music and all the farmstead buildings will be open for touring. The Farmstead is located within Nathanael Greene Park at 2400 S. Scenic Ave. Springfield, MO 65807.
