River Rescue Cleanup

River Rescue Cleanup

On Saturday, June 10, 2023, the James River Basin Partnership, The City of Ozark, and the Ozark Mountain Paddlers will be hosting their annual River Rescue clean-up where volunteers will work together to remove trash from local waterways.

Kickoff your weekend alongside fellow water warriors by cleaning up a beautiful stretch of the Finley River from Lindenlure to Finley River Park in Ozark.

River Rescue is increasing the sustainability and accessibility of the clean up this year. The event will be free of charge; lunch and shuttling will be provided for all volunteers, however, there will not be t-shirts this year.

No boat? No Problem! A limited number of canoes are available, first-come, first-served. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

The James River Basin Partnership, formed in 1997, is an established Springfield, Missouri 501.c.3 that works to improve and protect our local water quality through various projects, programs, and education-outreach.
