Grow Native! Webinar: Cultivating Conservation and Preservation in the Ozarks with Compton Gardens
Dr. Neil Compton was an avid lover of nature, whose efforts led to protecting the Buffalo National River from being dammed. His passion for conservation cultivated a legacy that still thrives today at Compton Gardens and Arboretum in Bentonville, Arkansas, a Grow Native! Garden of Excellence.
Meagan Love, Compton Gardens Arboretum & Foresting the Future Tree Program Manager, will host this webinar on the founding, history, and continued purpose of Compton Gardens. Plants native to the Arkansas Ozarks will be highlighted, and display garden designs, stewardship specifics, and goals will be discussed.
This webinar, to be held via Zoom, will include a presentation and a live question-and-answer session.
