Genealogy Workshop: Visualizing the Past: Sparking Interest in Genealogy

The Ozarks Genealogical Society will present Visualizing the Past: Sparking Interest in Genealogy on September 18 at the Library Center both in person and on Zoom.

Shamele Jordan is well known on the east coast for her Philadelphia-based TV show Genealogy Quick Start and her work managing community historical projects for Visualizing the Past. Shamele is an avid genealogist sparking students' interest in local and national history from an African American perspective integrating genealogy and map technology to explore the past. Gather ideas on kindling interest in genealogy to those around you from the effervescent Shamele. Shamele will be presenting by Zoom.

Attendance Options: In person at The Library Center or Zoom for OGS members. Members will receive a Zoom link by email or find the link at ozarksgs.org,programs. Members must login for access.
