Encore! Music Therapy Group is held weekly on Friday’s from 11:30 - 1:00 pm. The class works to support motor, speech and language, mood, and cognitive functioning.

A highlight of this class is singing. Participants use vocal production. No singing or musical experience required.

This music therapy group is designed to use music to address the common symptoms often experienced by those with Parkinson's disease. Promoting clear speech and breath support as well as rhythm based exercises to improve gross motor movement and muscle strength.

Other musical activities will be used to help with cognitive functioning such as problem solving, memory, and attention to stimulate the skills needed to maintain volume and articulation while speaking.
