Crowder College History Symposium

The Crowder College Social Science Division will host a History Symposium series of speakers for the Spring Semester. The first speaker, Dr. Brooks Blevins will take to the podium April 2 where he will deliver his well-known presentation “How to Talk Ozark in Seven Simple Steps.”

Dr. Blevins is the Noel Boyd Professor of Ozarks Studies at Missouri State University in Springfield and was born and raised in rural Arkansas in the heart of the Ozarks. He is also the author and editor of several books and hosts a bi-weekly podcast titled, “The Old Ozarks.”

The event will be held at the Wright Conference center, located upstairs inside the Arnold Farber Building at Crowder College Neosho.
