Coffee for the Birds

Coffee for the Birds
Missouri State Parks and the Missouri Department of Conservation will present Coffee for the Birds, a morning birding hike followed by a cup of coffee, March 29 at Roaring River State Park.
Meet in the lower level of the CCC Lodge at 8 am for an approximately 1-mile bird-watching hike on part of Devil's Kitchen Trail. Binoculars will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own. Bring water and wear sturdy shoes.
The hike will be followed by an indoor activity at 10 am back in the lower level of the lodge. During this portion of the event, have a cup of coffee while learning about the connections between your coffee and some of the birds that migrate from Missouri to the coffee-growing regions of Central and South America each winter.
Coffee for the Birds is presented by Missouri State Parks with assistance from the Missouri Department of Conservation. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required. Anyone under the age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
