The Friends of the Library (FOL) Book Sales have returned. The first sale opens to the public on Wednesday, October 6, and runs through the following Saturday, October 9, at the Nixa Community Branch. Hours are 9:30 a.m. till 6:30 p.m. Wednesday – Thursday and 9:30 a.m. till 5:30 p.m. Friday—Saturday.

FOL members are able to attend the preview sale early on Tuesday, October 5 from 4 p.m. till 6:30 p.m. Non-members can sign up for an individual or family membership at any Community Branch location before the preview sale or at the door. Individual memberships are $6 and family memberships are $10.

Adult hardcover books for $2, children’s hardcover books, CDs, DVDs and puzzles for $1 and all paperback books for 50¢. For the greatest bargains, attend bag day on Saturday. Fill up an entire grocery bag for one price of $3.
