A local business is celebrating its new location.  Lew’s held a ribbon-cutting for its retail store—Sportsman’s Factory Outlet--Friday morning at the location where it’s been open for just a couple of weeks in the Partnership Industrial Center.

The fishing focused 4000 square foot retail store is part of the new 58,000 square foot Do Outdoors corporate headquarters, which is also home to Lew’s Fishing.

The 3.5 million dollar Do Outdoor expansion project officially broke ground on October 31st, 2014.

A “Lew’s Museum” is also planned at the site to display fishing industry firsts from Lew Childre and several other fishing tackle pioneers.

There was a moment of silence during the ribbon cutting for victims of 9-11.
