Rates will go up 5.6 percent in October 2014, 3.9 percent in October 2015 and 3.7 percent in October 2016.
CU has said the increases are needed to meet revenue needed by 2017 to "accommodate requirements of environmental regulations, transmission grid costs, increased reliability and security standards for utility providers."
