Registration for Springfield Public Schools summer school begins Monday. KSMU's Xiaowen Tan reports.
Summer school will be held June 6- July 1. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday for elementary and middle school students, and Monday through Friday for high school students. According to the school districts websites, summer school locations include Delaware, Field, Gray, McGregor, Weaver and Cowden elementary schools; Carver and Pipkin middle school; and Central and Parkview high schools.To register online, parents can go to springfieldpublicschools.mo.org. Parents will need the students’ identification numbers provided by the schools. Those who do not have a student ID number have to contact the summer school office. Anyone who does not have access to a computer can go to Kraft Administrative Center to register, which is located at 1359 E. St. Louis Street.
