More winter weather is headed for the Ozarks. KSMU's Michele Skalicky has more...

Doug Cramer, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service Office in Springfield, says snow will start falling tonight and continue into tomorrow...

"It appears as though storm total accumlations will range anywhere from about three to four inches across the Southwest Missouri area, and that does include Springfield."

The snow will move out late tomorrow, according to Cramer, followed by very cold temperatures...

"The snow will exit the region probably sometime Thursday evening, and following quickly on the heels of that snowfall, we're going to experience a very cold night Thursday night into Friday morning. As a matter of fact, the National Weather Service is forecasting lows well into the single digits, maybe about two degrees here in the Springfield area."

There will be a bit of a warming trend over the weekend with highs in the mid to upper 30s.
