The annual WinterFest Visual and Performing Arts Festival will be December 4–6 at Juanita K. Hammons Hall, on the campus of Missouri State University. WinterFest combines the performing arts with the talents of the region’s best visual artists – in a three-day festival that provides a unique opportunity for all of the arts to “take center stage.” Artists are selected by jurors to participate in this show, held in the spectacular multi-level lobby of Hammons Hall.

WinterFest hours are as follows:
Friday, December 4 – 5 pm to 10 pm
Saturday, December 5 – 10 am to 10 pm
Sunday, December 6 – noon to 5 pm
In addition to the beautiful artwork and great shopping opportunities on four lobby levels, WinterFest also features music by local choirs and instrumental ensembles, presented on the Promenade balcony stage throughout the festival.
Ticketed performances for this year’s WinterFest weekend include Christmas with John Tesh and Big Smith Christmas. Sunday afternoon at 2 pm, the Missouri State University Music Department will present their free holiday concert, "Sounds of Christmas."
