Starting October 23rd lawmakers who serve on the House Interim Committee on Veterans Services will be traveling across Missouri to six cities to hear from the public on how to improve long-term funding for veterans homes. The committee will be in Brookline on October 24th. State Representative David Day chairs the committee. He explains what he hopes to accomplish during the hearing in Southwest Missouri.

The hearing in Brookline is open to veterans and the public. If you're interested in attending, the hearing is Wednesday, October 24th at 6 PM. The meeting will be held at the American Legion Post 676 at 5484 West Sunshine. If you'd like to testify at the hearing, you need to sign in by 6:30 on the 24th. If you're not able to attend the meeting, you can submit written testimony to Representative David Day's office at the state capitol by November 20th.
