There’s a new resource for area residents who need help getting a COVID-19 shot.  The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is launching a regional call center with other public health agencies in the area.  Southwest Missouri residents can call (417) 874-1211 to ask questions about the COVID-19 vaccine and get scheduled for an appointment near them.

County health departments that worked with Greene County to create the call center are Christian, Dade, Hickory, Jasper, Lawrence, Polk, Stone and Webster.

According to the Springfield-Greene County Health Department, residents of those or other counties can call 874-1211 to get registered and scheduled for appointments.
