Missouri State University has implemented an Emergency Paid Leave policy as the coronavirus continues to spread. It provides full-time employees with up to two weeks of paid time off in addition to earned paid vacation and sick leave.
The policy is effective immediately and will remain in effect through May 15, 2020.
During this time, employees may also use any accumulated leave benefits – sick or vacation – as needed.
Many MSU employees have also begun work-from-home arrangements for the remainder of the semester. Students will have another week of Spring Break next week, after which time classes will be taught online or through means other than in-seated classes.
