Public Health Officials In Greene County Announce 2 More COVID-19 Deaths

Fifty-three people have died of COVID-19 in Greene County so far this month.  The latest deaths, announced Wednesday, were a man in his 80s and a woman in her 90s.  One was a nursing home resident.

As of Wednesday, 130 Greene County residents had died of COVID-19.  There were 9,131 cases in the county, and 3,058 of them were active.  There were 153 people hospitalized in Springfield with the illness, and 30 were in the ICU.  Sixty-nine of them were Greene County residents.
