Applications for holiday assistance through the Council of Churches of the Ozarks Crosslines Food Pantry are now being accepted.  The deadline is November 6th.

Crosslines director, Tom Faulkner, said in a news release that they decided to open applications early this year because there’s a greater number of people in need and they want to be sure to distribute the food in a safe way.

Holiday help is available to any food insecure resident of Greene County.  Additional criteria apply to adult-only households.  Find out more at ccozarks.org/holiday or call 417-869-0563 Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 2 to 5 p.m.

Thanksgiving food baskets will be distributed November 21 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.  According to Crosslines, multiple precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of volunteers and guests.

If you’d like to volunteer or donate, visit crosslinesholiday.org or call 417-865-5810.
