If you’re not yet registered to vote in Greene County and you plan to cast a ballot in the August General Primary Election, you have until Wednesday to get registered.
You can register or update your voter registration record at the Greene County Clerk’s Office in the Historic Courthouse, 940 N. Boonville, Room 113, or at any Springfield-Greene County Library branch. Mail-in voter registration will be accepted if they’re postmarked by Wednesday.
When you go to register to vote, take a valid driver’s license, a current utility bill or a bank statement.
Besides choosing who will run in a variety of races, voters will decide whether or not to expand Medicaid in Missouri. Springfield voters will decide whether or not the city should impose a $5,000 annual fee for a short-term loan establishment permit.
