KSMU is partnering with the Springfield-Greene County Library to bring you readings from letters and journals written during the Civil War each Thursday morning at 7:30 through April 28th. It’s part of the library’s 2011 Big Read Celebration, “Voices of Conflict: the American Civil War.” Here’s Leah Hamilton Jenkins reading an excerpt from the Elizabeth Hunter and Priscilla Hunter letters to Margaret Hunter Newberry.
