Mercy held a blessing at its new Mercy Clinic Family Medicine building at 2716 W. Republic Rd. in Springfield on Wednesday. The facility replaces an existing smaller clinic and expands the space to 13,000 square feet. It has room for up to 10 providers.
And CoxHealth has announced it will soon build two new super clinics in Nixa and Ozark.
Those 30,000-square-foot clinics will offer primary care, urgent care, dedicated pediatric offices and physical therapy in one place, according to a news release from CoxHealth. In Ozark, the clinic will also feature a pharmacy.
The new Ozark clinic will be located at US 65 and CC and in Nixa, on US 60 just north of MO 14. The facilities will offer Save My Spot for Urgent Care appointments, which allows patients to request a time online.
Ground is expected to broken on the super clinics in mid December, and they’ll open in the fall of 2020. CoxHealth officials say those clinics will replace the current primary care and urgent care facilities in Ozark and Nixa. CoxHealth Ozark Pediatrics will also move to the new Ozark facility.
