The Springfield-Greene County Library District is offering a new service for would-be drivers in Missouri.  Its website now provides a link to free Division of Motor Vehicles practice tests.  Drivers can study the state manual and take the driving practice tests based on real Missouri DMV written exams, according to the district.

The service is a partnership between the library and Driving-Tests.org.  It’s being offered for free to the district.

Missouri-specific information on the site includes 10 car practice tests, six motorcycle practice tests, one CDL practice test and three online handbooks.

According to the library district, the new service is the only site of its kind to include accessibility tools that allow users to hear selections read aloud, make them into mp3’s, translate pages into other languages, magnify tests and mask sections of the screen for greater visibility on driving practice tests.

The link can be found at thelibrary.org/education.
