More than 2,000 volunteers from nearly 150 businesses and organizations will come together today for the United Way of the Ozarks Annual Day of Caring.
Participants have signed up to complete 279 individual projects at more than 100 nonprofit agencies throughout the region, including Springfield, Branson, Marshfield, Monett and Rogersville.
Last year’s campaign saw 2,100 volunteers and 255 projects completed. This is the 24th year of the United Way’s Day of Caring.
