enGAGE Mobility will host MexiVAN 2025 May 31 at 4 By 4 Brewing Company in Fremont Hills with a taco and nacho bar, drinks and desserts, raffles, family fun and more.
The event will raise funds to support the Hornbeck family of Springfield, Missouri. They are in need of an accessible van to fit two wheelchairs as they finalize the adoption process for their second daughter.
Tickets are available in advance or at the door.
The Springfield Conservation Nature Center will host a Mother's Day Tea May 31 with drinks and dishes made with wild edible plants. Naturalist Jordi Raos will give a presentation followed by a short garden walk and a craft. (Mother not required to attend.)
All ages. Seating is limited and registration is required.
Live From Downtown is a weekly summer concert series on Park Central Square that showcases local musicians and bands from all genres. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
Shows start at 7 pm every Saturday from the beginning of May through the end of September.

National Avenue Christian Church will host the Trading Treasures Yard Sale June 5-7 with typical yard sale items, plus vintage and collectable items in the Treasure Trove Room.
Proceeds will benefit the 16+ community groups and school that use the National Avenue Christian Church building during the week by covering a portion of building utility cost.
Community Partnership of the Ozarks will host its 4th annual Summer Soirée June 5 at the White River Conference Center to support CPO's mission to build resilient children, healthy families, and strong neighborhoods.
The evening will feature a five-course gourmet dinner, wine, a live auction, entertainment from Brecka Henderson & the Ambiance Band and DJ Platinum, and more.
