Adults are invited to attend “The Flower Sisters” from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, in the Library Center auditorium, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

The West Plains Bond Dance Hall Explosion in 1928 was a tragedy that continues to haunt the community it devastated decades before. Local author Michelle Collins Anderson will share the story of the explosion while discussing her book, “The Flower Sisters,” a fictional retelling of the events told through twin storylines fifty years apart. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
