Stargazing for Beginners
Registration is underway for adults to attend Stargazing for Beginners from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18, at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd.
The Springfield Astronomical Society will offer a hands-on exploration of stargazing, starting with methods for observing the brightest stars before moving on to other celestial objects. Weather permitting, go outside and use telescopes to gaze at the night sky.
