The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will host a presentation and educational walking tour of the Onsite Wastewater Training Center to learn about septic systems, maintenance tips to extend the life of your septic system and about current pump-out rebate programs on Tuesday, June 4 at 6 pm. The event will be at the Watershed Center in Springfield.

This event is free to attend but RSVP is encouraged. Call 417-408-3310 to RSVP or find out more. Appetizers and light refreshments will be provided. Little Sac watershed landowners are eligible to receive a $60 rebate on a pump-out of their system.

Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri Smallflows Organization, Watershed Committee of the Ozarks, and Greene County, are hosting the event. It has been funded in part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources under the Section 319 of the Clean Water Act.
