Mercy and CoxHealth Public Listening Session
Mercy and CoxHealth Public Listening Session
WHAT: An opportunity for the community to ask Mercy and CoxHealth leaders about their announcement to expand children’s services for the region.
WHERE: Jarrett Middle School, 906 W. Portland St., Springfield, Missouri
WHEN: Dec. 13, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
BACKGROUND: CoxHealth and Mercy announced in November that they are collaborating to enhance pediatric services in Springfield and the surrounding region. As part of this project, the two hospitals have started a request for proposal (RFP) in hopes of finding a third party that can expand pediatric care. As the RFP is underway, Mercy and CoxHealth are hosting a public listening session to hear from the community and answer questions related to the project.
Mercy Springfield Communities President David Argueta and CoxHealth President and CEO Max Buetow will join a panel of health care experts and community leaders in answering questions about the project.
While this event is geared to the public, media is welcome to attend.
