The Friends of the Garden will host Garden Day at the Springfield Botanical Gardens at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park to celebrate National Public Gardens Week.

Ask the Garden Experts: 3-5 pm
Butterfly House open hours: 3-5 pm
Friends of the Garden Annual Meeting: 5-6 pm
Social Hour: 6-7 pm

Visitors will be able to meet various garden adopters and volunteers to learn about the beauty and diversity of plants. They will be set up on the upper deck of the Botanical Center.

The Roston Native Butterfly House will also be briefly opening during the event to give visitors a preview before the official start of the season.

Friends of the Garden will host the Annual Meeting at 5 p.m. in the Botanical Center. They will give a snapshot of what was accomplished in 2022 and a preview of what lies ahead for 2023.

Afterward, there will be a social hour featuring appetizers and mingling.
