The Crowder College Theatre Department will present "The BFG," (Big Friendly Giant), June 13 and 14 at 7 pm and June 15 at 2 pm at the Elsie Plaster Auditorium on the Crowder Neosho campus.

The performance is adapted by David Wood, based on the original book by Roald Dahl. Crowder's performance is directed by Monty Pugh-Towe and features a cast of area students and community members.

A young girl, in desperate need of a friend, is quickly forced to befriend the BFG, who unlike most giants, is not scary or mean. The two take off on a journey together and build a life-long friendship.
