Springfield-Branson National Airport officials say there are things you can do to make your travel easier as you head out of Springfield for the holidays.  They suggest using an airline app, which allows customers to make and change reservations.  The apps also offer real-time flight updates and downloadable boarding passes.  You should get to the airport at least 90 minutes before your flight is scheduled to leave, don't over pack and don't wrap presents--security screeners may unwrap them for inspection.  And make sure you have a government issued photo ID if you're 18 or older before you get to the security screening line and make sure the name on your boarding pass matches the name on your photo I.D.

To help keep stress levels down while you head out of the city, members of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra will perform at the airport most Mondays and Fridays during the holiday season.
