The Movies at Founders Park Series continues this weekend.  “ET” will be shown tonight (7/18) and “Gravity” tomorrow night (7/19) at dusk at Founders Park in downtown Springfield. Adults are invited to see the movie “The Loving Story” tomorrow afternoon (7/19) at 1 at the Moxie Cinema, 305 S. Campbell.  The documentary tells the story of an interracial couple convicted of miscegenation after they were married.  The U.S. Supreme Court later ruled in their favor, overturning bans on interracial marriage throughout the country.  Admission is free.

The Moxie Cinema and the Springfield-Greene County Library will team up for “Sci Fi with The Skinny” tomorrow night (7/19) at 9 at the Moxie.  The Skinny Improv will be there to mock, heckle and lampoon a classic science fiction movie.  Adults only--admission is free.  The Moxie is located at 305 S. Campbell.
