Rockaway Beach Holds Community Clean-up

The City of Rockaway Beach has partnered with several community groups like Bridge of Faith Community Church, CoxHealth, Earls Family Broadcasting and the cities of Branson and Hollister to host the first ever community cleanup of its kind.

Projects include landscaping, picking up litter, and painting along the areas of Highway 176 near the city park and community garden. 

Volunteers are still needed for the weekend event. If you are interested in getting involved, volunteers are asked to meet at Rockaway Beach City Party to sign up. Check in on Fridayand Saturdaybegins at 9 a.m.and check in on Sundayis at 11:30 a.m.Volunteers will be fed all three days with lunch provided by Amvets Post 78.
