The Community Foundation of the Ozarks presents a new round of grant awards in the Health and Social Services category. Mike Smith has the story:
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks on Tuesday October 4th, presented to 14 Springfield area agencies, grant awards totaling $180,000. These latest grants from CFO fall under the Health and Social Services category which reward projects that promote or enhance the mental, physical, or emotional welfare of people, and projects which improve the standard of living for persons in challenging situations.
Later this year, CFO will award grants for Arts, Culture, and the Environment. In the Spring of 2006, CFO will award grants for Education and Community Development.
