The Festival season kicks into high gear in Springfield this weekend with enough offerings to give just about anyone a case of choice anxiety. We're talking about festivals that feature Blues, Bluegrass, and Banzai.

One choice this weekend is the 9th annual Japanese Fall Festival at the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden at Nathanael Greene Park. The event begins at 5pm tonight and continues Saturday and Sunday from 11am-10pm each day. For Information: www.springfieldmogov.org/sistercities

The Greater Ozarks Blues Festival will be held tonight and tomorrow at the festival's new location in the 500 block of north Campbell. The headliner for this year's festival is Buddy Guy, recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. For more information: www.greaterozarksbluesfest.com.

The 8th annual Ozarks Celebration Festival kicks off with a concert featuring Hogmolly and Big Smith tonight at the Strong Hall Amphitheater at Missouri State University. The event continues tomorrow and Sunday in front of Carrington Hall and inside plaster Student Union. This event features more than 100 craftsmen, musicians, storytellers, and commercial artists performing on 4 stages and presenting their creations in over 60 booths.
