A bridge northeast of Willard has been closed after officials deemed it unsafe.
The Missouri Department of Conservation found deteriorating conditions on the Greene County Route BB bridge over the Little Sac River, between Route Z and Highway 13, Monday.
According to MODOT, crews are finalizing the method and schedule for repairs and plan to open the bridge back up to traffic by the end of the year.
There won’t be any signed detours.
The bridge was built in 1939 and carries approximately 400 vehicles per day.
